There are many factors which can affect how your favourite tea tastes.
I had a customer ask me why her sister’s tea had a different taste when
she made it at her place. She loved the flavour when she was visiting but it seemed
to be different at home.
Here are a couple of things I suggested she try.
The first thing I would suggest is to shake the bag.The contents may settle and it may have less flavour on top.
Also the water can change the taste. I would recommend you could use filtered water to get the best tasting tea.
Be sure to let the leaves sit for 2 – 3 minutes but depending on the type of tea it could be longer.
But don’t over steep or your tea could be bitter.
Make sure you don’t over fill your tea ball or infuser, so the water and leaves can circulate to give you more taste.
